Create backplane LAN
The backplane is an isolated network that allows traffic isolation between the different CVMs and the CVMs to the hypervisor. it is used to isolate storage-related operations.
You must define a subnet an ip pool and a vlan which will be assigned to the hypervisor and cvm interfaces. On the old versions of AOS you can do it hot while on the new versions it will be imperative to switch each hypervisor to maintenance mode. Only the hypervisor!
In my case, I got a message like this:

We will therefore put each hypervisor in maintenance mode. From a CVM, retrieve the list of necessary IPs:

Enter the command below to put each hypervisor into maintenance mode:

You can then configure the backplane either in webui or in cli. The operation takes a long time because each hypervisor has to restart.
